I guess I should consider myself lucky to be able to travel to Japan for the second time... The first visit was during the Sakura season back in 2008 and this time around it's the Lavender season.
It's crazy how people often speaks about Hokaiddo and everyone wants to go there! Now I know why...

I always adore the Japanese food, especially the sashimi!
Being in Japan would be the best opportunity to taste the freshest seafood in the world!
Hell Valley...
Visiting Otaru is a must when you're in Hokkaido. This old town used to be the main harbour for Sapporo and it still got its history well preserved, you can feel as though as you've step into the past. Also there are loads of gas accessory shop and music box gift shop found here. Music from the music box can be heard when you're walking along the road - very serene :)
One of the highlight of this trip was ofcourse, to the lavendar farm. We ride on the Japan Railway from Sapporo Station to Furano. The 1 hour journey is very scenical as we can see flowers blooming along the way - simply beautiful! As there are quite a number of lavender farm, the company has choosen Tomita Farm (I believe that's the most known lavendar farm in Furano).
